
Dr. Chad J. Mykietiuk was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan where he was inspired by his uncle and two cousins to follow their careers in chiropractic. He pursued a Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Regina and was given early acceptance into the Doctor of Chiropractic program in 2004 at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. During his time at CMCC Dr. Mykietiuk was involved extensively in sports and participated in multiple Chiro Games representing the only Canadian school against various American schools. He was also chosen as a leader in his class to aid the future interns through clinical and professional judgement making and in 2006, Dr. Chad was awarded the L.R.W. Hamilton Scholarship for high academic achievement by a Saskatchewan resident. During his clinical internship Dr. Mykietiuk had the opportunity to practice at a suburban clinic focusing on acute care management and rehabilitation as well as an urban clinic whose care was directed at new immigrants to Canada, those with HIV and a low income population suffering from mental disorders.
Dr. Mykietiuk is a June 2008 graduate of the Doctor of Chiropractic program from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and obtained his license to practice in Nova Scotia in August 2008. He is also certified from the McMaster University Medical Acupuncture Program in Contemporary Acupuncture by a Chiropractor.
